MYER Fashions on the field 2010

The Myer Fashions on the Field event that takes place during the Murrumbidgee Turf Club Gold Cup Carnival is a most sort after and prestigious event on the Wagga Wagga calendar with entrants coming from far and wide to participate.

 

 
What our judges look for:
 

Stylish Couple

Complimentary styling including colour coordination. Outfits must be appropriate for an Autumn Carnival
  • Hats must be felt based, gentleman hat not essential
  • Well groomed with attention to detail

Best Dressed Gent

  • Clean, well-cut suit with well polished shoes
  • Hat not essential but must be felt based
  • Overall look should be focused on ‘raceday’ fashion rather than a business look
  • Its all about accessories eg binoculars, umbrella, hat, racebook etc.

Millinery Award

  • Headwear to make the overall statement & still compliment the outfit
  • Focus on overall, well-groomed look with attention to detail

Cutting Edge Racewear

  • Fashion with an edge – a “Stand-alone” look
  • Being on “Trend” i.e. displaying this seasons fashion statement
  • Clever use of accessory coordination
  • Hat or headwear with a winter influence is essential eg fur, felt, wool

Most Elegant Lady

  • Overall elegant statement
  • Accessories to compliment each other and overall outfit eg handbag, gloves, hosiery etc
