The biggest day on the Wagga Ag Club Calendar, the Ag Races is a long running tradition within the Wagga Ag Club Community. It was started by Ag students in 1989 who wanted to raise money for a mate & fellow student, Peter Worsley. Peter sustained spinal injuries in a rugby accident which left him in a wheelchair. Since then, the Wagga Ag Club have raised numerous funds for Peter and the wider WAC community – in 2023 the Ag Race Day committee raised over $30,000 from this event.  

GENERAL INFORMATION

• Gates open 12.00pm
• General Admission Tickets available at gate
• Limited ticket sellers at the gate, prebook to take advantage of prepaid pricing & help the queues move quickly
• WAC Members / Old Boys Marquee feat. light lunch Tickets $37.50 *Please note WAC Members/Old Boys only to purchase these tickets, all tickets sold are approved by Ag President
• Fashions on the Field, registrations trackside in front of the Grandstand, with Fashions on the Field with Prizes for Best Dressed Man, Best Dressed Couple, Best Dressed Millinery & Best Dressed Lady 
• Paddy Wagon Band playing late in the afternoon & after races party 
• All bars on course will be operated via drinks tickets, with drink ticket purchasing stations located in key areas on course (cash & card accepted at ticket stations)
• Complimentary buses will be at the Slocum St exit at the end of the day onwards to take you downtown

Please remember due to licensing laws, no alcohol is to be bought into the MTC premises

Persons under the age of 18 years (minors) are only permitted on the MTC premises if the minor is accompanied by a responsible adult who is;

• Exercising parental type supervision
• Responsibly always supervising the minor

As a guardian, the person accompanying the minor should be;

• Directly related, 17 & under needs to be with a 21yrs + and show proof of relationship with either the same last name or address.
• Not directly related – Guardian must be 25yrs. + (1 guardian per minor where not directly related)

General

• Minors will not be served alcohol
• Individuals procuring drinks for minors will be removed from the premises.
