The Murrumbidgee Turf Club (MTC) is thrilled to welcome back the Evergreen Turf Country Championships Race Day on Saturday, 28th February 2026.

Join the MTC for the ultimate Country Showdown featuring the SDRA Country Championships Qualifier, where the winner gains exemption into the $1 million Country Championships Final at Royal Randwick in early April.

The excitement continues off the track with a Western-themed race day, including line dancing, party after the last with Country Rock band Ballz n All, TAB Activation, mini pony rides for the kids and much more!

HOSPITALITY OPTIONS

Enjoy a premium trackside venue in the Long Lunch in the Grandview Marquee!

Including a buffet lunch, access to private bar and donation to local charity (yet to be announced)

Tickets are $120 pp | $115 for Members.

Grab your boots and hat for the Wild West Bundaberg Rum Precinct!

Situated in the trackside location racegoers will enjoy a premium race day experience with private bar and amenities, live music throughout the day and complimentary drink

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

ENTRY & EXIT

• Entry and Exit is available from both Travers Street and Slocum Street
• Both gates will be open from 12.00pm and will close at 4.00pm, no pass outs are allowed from the racecourse past 4.00pm

BUSES

• Complimentary Buses will be departing Slocum Street from 5.00pm until 7.30pm taking racegoers downtown

TICKETS

• Pre – purchasing tickets is strongly recommended to skip queues on the day and avoid tickets selling out
• QR Codes available on the gate for purchase
• Wild West Pin Gin Precinct tickets are available at the entry of the precinct however are limited

BARS

• Bars in Marquee areas will terminate at 5.45pm
• The Trainers Bar will remain open on course for General Admission ticket holders
