The SDRA Country Championships Race Day will be held at the Murrumbidgee Turf Club on Saturday 28th February 2026. With the winner of the race exempt into the $1,000,000 Final At Royal Randwick, it’s a race day not to be missed!
Join us for the ultimate Country Showdown on the track as well as off the track with a western themed race day for all to enjoy.
For those looking for hospitality, tables can be booked in the Long Lunch in the Grandview Marquee, located trackside so you don’t miss any racing action.
The party will be kept alive in the Wild West Pink Gin Precinct that is also situated in the premium trackside location.
There will be plenty of entertainment for the whole family including Line Dancing, Kids Zone and much more!

ENTRY & EXIT
- Entry and Exit is available from both Travers Street and Slocum Street
- Both gates will be open from 12.00pm and will close at 4.00pm, no pass outs are allowed from the racecourse past 4.00pm
BUSES
- Complimentary Buses will be departing Slocum Street from 5.00pm until 7.30pm taking racegoers downtown
TICKETS
- Pre – purchasing tickets is strongly recommended to skip queues on the day and avoid tickets selling out
- QR Codes available on the gate for purchase
- Wild West Pin Gin Precinct tickets are available at the entry of the precinct however are limited
BARS
- Bars in Marquee areas will terminate at 5.45pm
- The Trainers Bar will remain open on course for General Admission ticket holders
